New Logistics Hub

Action is one of Europe’s most remarkable retail success stories. From a small shop in Enkhuizen, the company has grown in less than 30 years into an international retail organisation, with over 2,650 stores across 12 countries and an annual turnover of eleven billion euros (2023).

The goal was to establish a major Italian logistics hub for the international brand. The project was shaped by a combination of strategic location in relation to road and motorway networks, specific warehouse storage capacity requirements, and strict design and construction standards.

Currently under construction, the development includes around 60,000 sqm of warehouse floor space, 65,000 sqm of urban infrastructure works to be handed over to the local authority, and additional related facilities — for a total area of 185,000 sqm.

Particular, above-standard care has been dedicated to the internal road system and the safety of on-site personnel, fully reflecting the client’s corporate policies.
