Italtrans S.p.A. is a full-service transport and storage company, offering warehousing, handling and delivery — the entire distribution chain managed by a single partner.

The company operates with precision, speed and efficiency, regardless of the scale of the task, and is today a market leader undergoing continuous growth in the logistics and transport sectors. Italtrans ensures consistent quality across the entire supply chain, with a strong focus on environmental responsibility.

Italtrans S.p.A. identified the need to expand its network of logistics hubs by developing a new facility of considerable scale, equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and designed down to the smallest detail to optimise both space and working conditions for its personnel.

Recognised as one of the most advanced logistics hubs in Europe, the site covers an area of over 300,000 sqm and includes more than 150,000 sqm of built-up space.

The development is structured into several units, each tailored to different categories of goods, and includes office and service areas. A fully automated warehouse has also been completed, covering 9,500 sqm and reaching a height of 30 metres above ground.

Special attention was given to the choice of materials and the colour scheme of the buildings, a process led collaboratively by DOMUS ing&arch Srl and the Turin-based firm Giugiaro Architettura.

The architectural identity of the site is defined by stylised tree motifs across the large façades, evoking the poplar groves typical of the Po Valley landscape.
